>> Vintage Baseball / Ice Cream Social <<

Baseball from the 1800’s came into New Carlisle July 11th. The Champion City Reapers came to town to take on the New Carlisle Merchants for an afternoon slugfest. Many were on hand to watch the game and get free ice cream thanks to Howard’s IGA and Prairie Farms. Unfortunately, after 7 well played innings, the NC Merchants fell to the Reapers 2-0. Thanks to everyone who came out to support the Merchants!

>> Cemetery Walk <<

The bicentennial committee offered a walk through many sections of the New Carlisle Cemetery. Bill Berry was able to shed light on some of New Carlisle’s most influential people. If you would like to find out more information about the New Carlisle Cemetery, please check out the Genealogy/Local History area of the New Carlisle Library. Check out the pictures and video for this event!

“Letters From York” Presentation

We are excited about this event. “Letters from York” will be a reading of letters depicting the life of citizens as New Carlisle was growing. Each letter has been written by those who have made New Carlisle what it is today. All letters will be read aloud to the audience. The New Carlisle Community Chorus will be on hand to sing pieces themed with the letters.
